We purchased
our first llamas and Angora goats in 1995 and then being hooked, alpacas
followed in 1996. The goat herd has numbered over 350 but as of fall
2006, has been dispersed. Although the goats are gone now, thousands of
pounds of their mohair remain to be used. Approximately 60 llamas &
alpacas still call Osgoode home.
You will find our Wool Shoppe at the entrance to the farm. Our alpacas,
llamas and angora goats provide the fibre for the articles featured in
our shop. The variety of products available for sale changes as we
experiment and grow. We're only limited by our time, since many articles
are hand made and one-of-a-kind. All dyeing is done by hand in small
quantities and almost everything is made on the farm or locally.
Our shop caters to those wishing to buy unique, high quality garments
such as socks, sweaters, scarves or shawls, to name a few. For those who
are talented and would like to craft their own garments, you can
purchase our locally grown specialty yarns and fibres.
We sell high quality registered llamas and alpacas.
