| Our shop is located at the
entrance to our farm and features alpaca, llama and mohair articles made
from our own animals. You can see these animals in our pastures just
outside our shop. These fibres all lend themselves to our Canadian
climate as they are more insulating than sheep's wool due to its hollow
nature. They also have little itchiness compared to sheep's wool.
All our fibre is processed into yarn right here
on the farm in our own spinning mill. For more information on this
process, please visit the
Hidden Touch
Natural Yarns.

We carefully dye some yarn in small batches so
that we produce many colours as well as various shades of yarn. This
ensures good quality dyed yarn as well as many variations to produce
some of the one-of-a-kind items you will find in our store. Much
of the knitting is done here on our farm by Shirley and her mother. We
collaborate with our talented friends from Studio3 Fibre Arts on a
variety of innovative woven products. All our bootliners, insoles and
socks for which we contract the services of others to do some of the
manufacture, are made in Ontario from our own fibres.
